i always notice that when i have carbs for dinner (big plate of pasta), i wake up the next morning with a painfully empty stomach. i'm talking like, i get out of bed at 7 a.m. and go straight to the kitchen and eat anything i can get my hands on to get rid of the hunger pain, because it's that bad.
anyone else get that? |

How much is too much will also depend on your energy expenditure, which I imagine is rather high in your case. |
I train in the gym 4 times a week. I eat that much because I'm in the bulking phase, and it should be a well known fact that carbs make you grow. |

| Yes, carbs spare protein, because when you get a bunch of them your body does not have to use up as much protein to make glucose for your brain. |

Yeah, proteins should never be used for energy (via gluconeogenesis) except maybe in extreme cutting cases to be sure none of carbs or fat went to fat deposits. |

| decent workout, ran for twenty minutes or so...did a mile in ten minutes, a bit laid back though. bench press 45*2 10 reps. 3 sets. shoulder press, some triceps. damn it, forgot to do some back training! i spent too much time sitting in my desk, it comes with the territory. |

A zavisi koliko traje studij, i ja zelim zavrsiti sto prije moguce, sad sam na drugoj godini, studiram elektrotehniku, smjer elektroenergetika.
Edit: Got a new squat personal record yesterday, 12x110 kg. |

It depends on a lot of things, really. Too individual to give you even a rough estimate.
You're full of , as usual.
Unless you're a genetic freak, carbs before sleeping will make you accumulate fat in the long run. Carbs are fast energy, fat is slow energy. Unneeded energy is stored in fat. You don't need fast energy when going to sleep. It's really that simple.
Get your straight.
Oh, and I've seen your pictures. You can come back down to the ground now, you really have nothing to back your attitude up. |
You're right about the fat vs carb thing, fat is usually best to take before bed due to it acting as slow released energy and that's what you need before bed, such as peanut butter ect.
BUT you're not going to pack on fat just by eating carbs at the end of the night, seriously it just comes down to the amount of calories you take in.. obviously if you're over your daily intake of calories then whatever is not burned off will just turn to fat, if you're under then well you're going to lose weight..
Oh and your whole line about "anabolic steroids" are the only good supplements.. lol, gimme a break. |

that's almost the same exact routine i did today- mile time and everything; just replace the shoulder press and tri exercises with crunches, more crunches, and bicep curls. worked my lower legs today also. |

Je isto ti je ovdi. 3 + 2 + 3.

They're not supplements, they're "supplements". Nothing except whey and glucose is worth spending money on because the invested/gained ratio is way too bad.
I don't know the prices in USA or other places, but I'll say it anyway...
Compare, for example, $300 worth of BCAA or creatine or glutamine with $300 worth of testosterone enanthate.
What will benefit you more in terms of gaining muscle mass? |
