Just returned from a 19,1 km (just under 12 miles) run, nicely paced at 11 kmh. Chose a nice route through the countryside, resulted in some nice views with the temperatures just below freezing point.
Form is returning, might do a half marathon or two in the coming month or two. |

i hate running when its cold outside. i know a lot of people prefer it; but that - i want it 75F outside when i run.
i'd rather sweat a lot; than have cold air rushing into my lungs. lol
going back again this afternoon before i donate some blood. gonna be a pushup/situp day:disbelief |

30 situps to the front
30 situps to the right
30 situps to the left
10 leg lifts in cap't chair (center)
10 leg lifts to the right
10 to the left
20 pushups
~20 situps
1/4 mile run
more leg lifts in cap't chair (center/left/right)...basically did them until i couldn't even lift my legs anymore. lol

I must say it didn't feel as cold as it actually was, and besides that, usually only the first 5-10 minutes are cold, after that you're warmed up enough not to feel the cold anymore. |

you can still feel the cold air enter your lungs and suck the life out of you:p |

| I always prefered the cold, it forced me to keep a good pace to get back to the house quicker, although the cold has been proven to negatively affect results due to the opposing contraction force it has on muscles which are trying to expand during exercize. |

Trying some new supplements this month while I'm on an alcohol break :)
I took the progain extreme during December and put on about 3kg of weight which was good, unfortunately I've been on a drink and drug binge this holiday and lost it all again, oops.
Anyone know if its better to combine the 2 products or just stick to 1 of them?
I'm also looking for some cheaper products as these cost nearly 40 quid each! Quite a lot for a 1 month supply
Oh well time to start again ;) |
Don't waste money on supplements other than whey protein. Casein is borderline wasteful, but depends on how/what u eat. Get some whey, and a multivitamin...this is all u need. Eat lots of protein, healthy fats like whole eggs, olive oil, coconut oils, and limit carbs. Stick to Low GI carb sources. |

I don't want to destroy my liver, shrink my nuts, and get gyno (man titties) Only way I would juice it up is through my doctor to make sure I wouldn't ruin my body for the rest of my life just to look good for a few years...if that. |

that's an interesting comment as I have been taking whey protein for a couple of years with no obvious weight gain at all. I've been taking the cyclone for a month now and have put on a couple of of kilos already, it really seems to have worked for me but I'd be the first to admit my diet is not the best. |

you should think about your diet first. skipping that step and going directly to supplements and other stuff doesn't make sense. |
