It is kind of sad that a viable topic cannot be discussed without being barraged by ad hominem attacks. The sad part is your inability to provide satisfactory evidence towards a debate (ie what i have done with peer reviewed links) to prove a point. If i am wrong in a topic, i will gladly admit it (as i have corrected myself in this thread).


I guess its too much to ask to have civility in a discussion. It's ok I understand most of you guys simply just dislike me for no apparent reason.

adieu then, continue on with the workout discussion. Although to me it sounds more like a complaining discussion.

Evidence? Everything we said is COMMON ING KNOWLEDGE. You can find evidence supporting everything I and others have said anywhere quite easily. So off you pathetic twat. You've already made yourself look like more than a total jackoff, I don't see why you want to carry it on any further.

+1. I gained 5 kg in the last couple of months because I was really stressed because of grad school, eating pizza nonstop and drinking Coca-cola to keep me awake during the all-nighters I pulled. I made a lettuce wrap for the first time in ages today, and GODDAMN it was good.

I spread some ajvar on a few lettuce leaves, then loaded it up with oven roasted turkey breast, a couple thin slices of cheese, and some mustard. Had that with a side of broccoli and hummus to dip.

I'd like to know what sort of qualifications you have to so vigorously debate this all, or is all your knowledge from articles?
You have a trained and very experienced nurse, as well as a qualified hospital scientist and cardiovascular specialist teaching you basic scientific principles, as well as multiple others with the clear knowledge of the subject matter supporting it all, yet you continue to think you're a genius amongst peasants without so much as a primary school education. I could pluck a group of 15 year olds from high school that would support everything we've told you.

Really? Im the one insulting people here? i made a claim that your statement about cholesterol was outrageous, albiet it seemed to be but it appears that your argument did hold more water and i acknowledged that with regards to the shrimp article.

Then the issue regarding eating low fat foods to help create a caloric deficit. This was based on the premise that eating more mass with less calories is sufficient to satiate instead of eating less mass with more calories.

I posted a supporting peer reviewed article for that as well.


Now with regards to me being a pompus genius? where the hell did that come from, from what i understand its the 5 or 6 of you ganging up on me calling me a moron and an idiot everyother word, when im trying to discuss a viable topic here. If i did overstep my bounds by trying to call you out earlier on, i appologize. But still this topic isnt a no brainer, and i understand there are different views out there and im willing to hear them so long as evidence is supporting them and not ad hominem attacks.

My qualifications are a Bsc double major in biology and statistics and personal training certification as well as nutrtionist certification. Not a Phd here but i also have personal trial experience on weight gain going from 115 lbs to 165. and easily being able to drop 20 lbs or so when needed in a couple of months.
