Eh, I haven't gone to gym in 2-3 weeks now. Really feeling guilty about it, especially since summer is coming... But what can I do, school is more important. I'll try to hit it next week and try to keep a constant routine for a little longer than last few months.
Here's something interesting I heard:
Every person has a muscle group that is superior and a muscle group that is inferior compared to the rest of the body. Well, not totally superior and inferior, but a bit more and a bit less developed than other muscle groups.
Now, here's the question... What are your most and least developed muscle groups? Also, what muscle group is your favorite generally speaking?
In my case, I think my chest isn't really strong, especially compared to how the rest of my body is developed. While I was in top shape I could bench press around 75 kg (165 lbs) 4-6 times while weighting around 63-65 kg (140-144 lbs). Now I could probably hardly do more than 60 kg (135 lbs).
Also, I'd like my calves to be bigger/stronger than they are. I'm pretty much satisfied with everything else. My favorites are probably biceps and latissimus dorsi. Oh, and I like my shoulders as well.
How about you guys (and girls)? |

| my back is my strongest i would dead lift 110kg. my back gets huge in a few weeks whereas my chest is very hard to develop as i would like it to maximum i got on that was 80kg but only for 2 reps. |

IDk, I'm pretty well rounded, but not really strong. I just maxed my chest last night and was only able to lift 205lbs 2x times. My max in curls is 105x1 (preacher curls). Shoulders- 165x1 (rear military press). Tris - 180lbsx3 (pull downs). I never maxed the squats, but I do sets with 185lbs.
I'm 6'2" and weigh 182lbs. |

i just started doing seating rows with the full range of motion. been repping sets of 8 on 225 and doing the full range gets my hamstrings and lower back awesomely. and I have back dimples and theyre pretty rad. |

Simple things to remember...to not look like a goon in the gym...
*Seated rows..or any rows are not lower back or leg or bicep workouts.
*Chins...or Pulldowns...are not bicep workouts.
*Seated overhead presses(or military presses to the front...whatever) are not upper chest workouts, and you're not stronger because you barely go halfway down.
I'll think of some more later.
Today was a good leg day though. First I hit the free squats. Went to failure a few times in five sets. Then went over to the leg press. Went to failure once or twice and five sets there. Then went over to the hack squat and, going all the way down...so far that I touched the bottom on a lot of my reps...did four more sets there...then went on to some calves and traps to end my workout that day.
Then when I got home, I sat at my computer and did something for a second...then stood up again..and a wave of tiredness came over me...I think I almost fainted...but I just went limp and fell onto my bed and lay there for a few seconds... my legs were ed.
Then hours later at work i'm standing up from a table at lunchtime...and about midway up my quads cramp up like a MOTHERVUCKER.....and i'm like...owww....so I sit down and try again using my arm to push myself up...I actually stood up that time. Anything like that ever happen to any of you hardcore gym rats? |
