Lunges - Love them. Don't know why I wasn't doing them before. I'm getting more into pure, big, compound exercises. They just seem to work a lot better than those crap little isolation things. Tomorrow I'm going to try some reverse lunges.
I also need to run more again, as soon as my leg gets fixed up.
@J - Good to hear your run went well.

This week my routine was supposed to be "recovery week" so the makers of P90X+ decided it would be hilarious to make us do all the old weightlifting workouts from the original P90X. Yesterday was Legs&Back, and I haven't done that in forever. Seriously, I can barely walk. I don't really have a leg routine in this new set of workouts.

+1
Jack, how do you warm up for a big run like that? Lots of static and ballistic stretching? Jumping jacks?

I have a firm belief that not exercising your legs severely limits the potential you have for muscular growth. I see so many people doing weights on their upper body and neglecting their legs, yet it's the ones that do whole body workouts who get more muscle growth, better definition and just generally look better.
You just can't match the amount of increased blood flow you get from running or doing something like squats, by just doing upper body.

I discovered this about a year ago and have no intention of ever going back to isolation exercises. Squats are by far the best exercise out there. When you start doing squats make sure you do real squats and not squats (as I call them). That means hips go just below the knees.

Yeah I've always done squats and lunges. I do goblet squats with a 40lb dumb bell and a few variations of lunges with 15-20 lb dumb bells.

Agreed for sure. Plyometrics gets added to my routine on Tuesdays now so my days without a leg workout are over. :p

Er... I jog up and down the stairs a couple of times and then do a couple of basic stretches before leaving the house. I also don't tend to warm down - last night I just collapsed on my doorstep when I finished, and seized up a bit when I cooled down.
