You are an idiot, its mainly on the grips. You know people wash their hands more often than any other body part, especially me, because I'm always wiping at my nose. If they smell funky I flip the out and wash them, especially if I have been handling metal of any sort. I hate the smell of metal (coins, clippers, etc). |

I hate that cardio is so necessary to achieving the results I want. After just two weeks of running every other day I'm already seeing the changes I've been after, ie. starting to look less beefy.
I was searching for something else on the internets and came across some chick's blog called striving for skinny - which is basically a motivational site for healthy eating + exercise and being "skinny" in healthy ways, and it had a post for a quick circuit workout which I did today. It's pretty awesome, but goddamn it was tough - my legs feel like rubber now, and I have strong legs. son.
50 jumping jacks
12 pushups
30 walking lunges with 10 lb dumbbells
20 jump squats
50 jackknife situps
20 mountain climbers
10 ******s with 5 pound dumbbells
repeat x3 |
thanks! i think i'm going to try that |

Hahaha, cardio. I stopped doing it. The odd time I will get on the treadmill and do 15-20 mins of HIIT at the end of my workouts if my husband is still pushing weights, but otherwise ehhhhh.
Also, lol, I'm hilarious!

Bit of nostalgia, reading back to the days when I didn't have a clue what I was doing when it came to running.
I ran 19 miles on Saturday. It took two hours and fifty four minutes. Today I signed up for the Manchester marathon in April. My goal is to finish in less than four hours. My current pace on long runs already cuts that target very fine, so I'll need to pack in some more serious training between now and then. |
