wow thats crazy man. When i started off i was similar to you. 5"11 110 -115 lbs. So i guess we share the same bodytype. I would suggest mastering your body weight first (Dips chinups pull ups pushups). Then add on the lbs with a training belt. You'll find you'll get yoru stabilizers working and you'll excell at various excercises quickly.
Benching 165 at 106 is awesome!. lol i was barely doing the bar at 115 lbs.
Seems like your doing very well though. keep it up. Post your stats. |
Sure will. Today is chest and back day (my favourite day) and I'm heading out soonish. :) |

started a new workout plan for weeks 5-8 of my workout. this one really kicked my ass... these are done every monday
| quote: | Monday (Upper chest conjugate/Biceps heavy)
A. Incline bench press
4 x 6-8 reps
B1. Low-incline dumbbell press (stop short of lockout)
3 x 10-12 reps
B2. Incline cable flies
3 x 10-12 reps
C. Low-pulley crossover
3 x 8-10 reps
D. Bench press
1 x 100 reps (take pauses if needed)
E. Barbell curl
5 x 5 reps
|
B1/B2 you alternate every other week. On my 4th exercise I was dead. It was funny benching just the bar, but I managed to get 60 straight, then 40.
I was curious if any of you have a chin/pull-up bar at home that can latch at the top of a doorframe? Was curious if there was a certain brand/model one would recommend. My back has always been a weak-point and pullups everyday at home would help out a lot. |

my craftsmanship is also shoddy. i don't want to do a pullup, and half a doorframe come down :( |

<3 oatmeal. I think it IS an acquired taste, though. So if you haven't had in years, the taste lost its value to you and just doesn't seem right. |

| Ugh, I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and just get a gym pass next semester. I just don't have time to work out at home anymore, and I haven't done all since I moved. :/ |

| Love the feeling from taking a week rest and then hitting it hard the week following. Extra soreness ftw |
