I agree... I have the same "clicking" problem in my knees and the glucosamine does help. I don't take it everyday tho. |

i dunno i had dinner with my ex last night and he said dont take the glucostine. he said it's just that i'm really skinny and need to strengthen the muscles around my joints. after a couple months in the gym he said it'll stop.
and for the record, he knows his ...bs in exercise physiology from ohio state and physical therapy grad school. i'm getting free training and diet advice from him:D
i'm gonna be doing 5 meals a day not to exceed 1200 calories, and 4 days a week weight training (not consecutively) with 20 min cardio as a warmup for each session. |

Kicked up some of the weights today!
I'm up to 3x12 reps 15lbs (from 3x10 reps of 10lbs) on military press (and I think I could actually do 20!!! but I'm not gonna push it yet).
Leg press @ 110lbs (up from 105), also feeling like I could do more but...
And crunches @ 45lbs (up from 30).
I also feel like I could increase thigh adductor/abductor by 5-10 lbs...but I'm going to wait to see how sore I get before I decide. Last time I really gave'r on those machines I could barely walk the next couple of days.
Woooooooooooooo!
Also, I think I like the bikes more than the elliptical. Actually no, I definitely like them more than the elliptical. elliptical. |

LOL
But nah, I don't have that problem anymore....cept for my knobby knees. I just have boy legs..can't really change that. I always joke with my bf that he has nicer legs than I do, cause his are so slender and shapely. Damn bastard! I bet he'd look good in a dress. :wtf: |

that's a 50% increase on the military press...good luck! as for the abductor/adductor,just kick it up by 10lb and do 3 sets of 8 then work your way to 3 sets of 12. you are going to be sure but that's just wha happens when you jack up the weight. |

| Yeah...I'm pretty confident I can increase the weight there. Just didn't want to go at it all in one day. Next time fo' sho! |

| ...i think i exercise too much. i'm starting to think it's not so great for the body. i'm in the gym for 90min - 120min 5 days a week...not everyday can be awesome. maybe it is better to sleep more / engage in relaxing exercises rather that cario then weights that often. :( i like workingout but i look around me at work and the pretty physical people have bum knees...3 serious acl injuries :nervous: |

got back into my routine tonight. i was out of town over the weekend and i felt ty that i couldn't work out lol
i started my 5 small meals a day thing today. oatmel this morning, then salami & swiss on wheat for lunch, then some fat free triscuit crackers & mild cheddar cheese as an afternoon snack. worked out after work and then came home and had a boca burger on wheat toast with steamed broccoli. finishing off my night with a strawberry & peach smoothie i made. |
