| I'm @ +25lbs of mass in the past 18 months. Gym has been treating me well. Maybe stopping taking amphetamines 3 days a week and eating regular balanced meals helped too. |

lol yea that helps:p
i'm on a mission to gain 5-7 lbs right now. i know that sounds silly but it makes a huge difference on me. i've been forcing myself to eat 3 meals a day at the proper time. before, i was doing all of my eating after 4 pm (3 meals after 4 lol). now i'm doing it the normal way. breakfast, lunch and dinner. hope it works. got a boat party to go to in a couple weeks and i think i look too skinny in my bikini right now. |

Yeah eating all of your meals after 4 isn't really smart, and I'm surprised you were losing weight doing that rather than gaining it.
p.s What is the name of the pizza place in Ft. Laud w/meatball & ricotta pizza. I think there's one up here too ... |

Good point, actually. If they don't care enough to convert the numbers, they shouldn't be reading my posts at all.

Sorry, but what the hell are you talking about?
Of course, that goes in case she ate both before and after 16:00.
If she ate only after 16:00 (e.g. no breakfast), your point stands. |

lol, Why this little myth still floats around is beyond me, but it does not matter what time u eat mate. Calories in vs calories out for the 24 hr period is what does. |

the body only digests food for about 4 hours. if you have 3 meals in a short period of time and go to sleep, your body will store more fat. |

| Anyone take Endurox R4? I'm drinking it before going to the gym, but I can't feel that much of a difference, performance wise. |

Then go ahead and eat a lot of simple carbohydrates before going to sleep and let me know how it works out for you in a month or two.
In other words, what you've said is only partially true. You should eat any time of the day, it's what you it that matters.
Whey and glucose is win-win combination after a workout, but very bad before going to sleep because it raises sugar levels and insulin with it.
Unneeded energy will be stored to fat, especially with high levels of insulin which will also hinder secretion of growth hormone during sleep.
A lot better choice would be casein (found in cottage cheese) for its slow absorption (~5 hours) and some good fats (such as almonds) to slow it down even more.
This is done to keep muscles supplied with protein during night and prevent catabolism.
Those are pretty much the basics. |

i argue with people ALL the time about that. calories are like money, doesn't matter when you spend them the point is that you spend them. |

Ditch it, you don't need any supplements at all. It's all marketing and most supplements are not even remotely worth the money they cost.
I use only whey proteins and glucose for simplicity's sake.
It's easier to drink a shake after workout than to eat chicken breast and rice. |
