| Man, I need to invest in some running shoes. The trainers I go out in now are literally falling apart and are starting to become an injury liability. |

there is a guy at my gym who is definitely mid-50s, wears barely there loose string tank tops, falls asleep in the tanning bed and is without a doubt a gigantic meathead. is that strange to anyone else, i didn't know meatheads could be that old.
so how goes everyone's quest to be awesome? i'm sad it's getting cooler outside because my walks to/from the gym aren't as nice as they once were which means i'm going to have to start doing cardio inside again. |

Pretty good, actually. I've finally got back into a steady every other day routine which I'm happy about. Haven't done cardio since ummmm June though. I know it'd be just the thing to burn the fat I'm not pleased with, but eh - nobody's perfect.
Having good speakers in our "gym" makes all the difference. I get pumped thinking about having awesome tunes to keep me going.
Now that's it's cooler out I should definitely start running again though. |

There is a class at my gym in an hour called "Interval and Sculpt"
I want to go, but I have no idea what it consists of... any ideas?
I called the gym and the moron at the reception desk had no idea. |

Had some real struggles with the running recently, only been managing to go out twice a week at most. The dark nights and bad weather don't give you much window of opportunity Still, ran for 9 miles yesterday so I haven't lost any fitness.
The weights are going great, though. Making some real progress on the bench-press. |

A Class that all students should take. This class concentrates on resistance moves that help support joints and bones, along with all intense cardio moves to work your heart. This class has 3 min. resistance moves followed up with 1 ½ min cardio moves. The resistance is in the form of weights, tubing, etc. to help build strong healthy lean muscle tissue. All Levels |
probably not the exact same but similar. |

It was weights combined with cardio. Sick workout... I was BEAT.
The instructor was ing INTENSE. I don't know if this is standard in these kinds of classes, but at one point we were doing deeeeeeeep squats with weights in hand and holding the position for like 30 seconds. My ass was crying
If I stopped to chill my limbs for one second he yelled "MOVE IT, LEGS. I DIDN'T SAY BREAK"
lol
Will def be going again |

You have to have a certain charisma and likability factor to teach a class.
Else no one will come ;) |
