That's a lot. I quit caring about how much weight I can throw around, but focus more on form. I see the meatheads that can throw mad weight around, but most of them look like , and have a high BF% |
Ya this kid is straight up jacked. He's juiced before though I'm sure he still does. I can just imagine how much stronger I will be everywhere else if I get my legs caught up with the rest of me. |

High-rep leg exercises are tough. At the beginning of swim season my coach would make everyone lunge four or five laps around the pool, probably around a quarter mile I guess. Lots of pain.
:nervous: |
i much prefer this, high reps that is for lunges and other exercises. you do enough with your own body weight and it'll make you hurt. |

| I just like my legs and ass to be beefy. Had to add more weight to achieve that. |

Ya I need to get my legs stronger I wanna be squating like my friend in a month 405 last 2 sets. |
Start doing heavy deadlifts too Chach, if you aren't already. Space it away from your squats a bit in your split; let's say you squat on Monday, then do deads on Thursday so your body has enough time to recover from each event since they target similar muscles albeit in a different manner. On saturday do some good thigh, glute, and ham stretches; enough to get a decent sweat going. Stay rigorous with that for like six weeks and your legs will start growing stronger exponentially.
P.S. - I used to squat and dead 405 for reps and that was pretty much the split I used to get there. @ a bodyweight of around 195 or so and I've always been natural. I only say that because you said your buddy had juiced; just want to make sure you know that it's acheivable without that. |
