I swear to god these pills I'm taking, called CCB, work. I got em at some store called "Power Zone" but maybe GNC sells them? They're supposed to help you lose weight and maximize the benefits of your cardiovascular acivity, but I notice my strength output with weights increases drastically and I've put on almost 10 pounds in the past 2 months (and I never jump that fast). The only downfall is sometimes my heart rate jumps too high and I have to pause to make sure it drops down to the 140bpm range.
I'm still waiting to lose that damn lil cut where the bottom part of my 6-pak should be. |

Whoa... I dunno, never heard of em, did you do any research on them? Maybe long-term, it's not so good for ya...
But considering what you said I'd actually be interested in trying that out. |

| i think i finally understand why some people never workout, work and stuff can be draining. :nervous: I don't want to turn into one of "those" people. |

I'm doing squash for one hour for 2-4 times a week, and going to gym 2-4 times a week. Usually in the gym I'll do a fat burning exercise with 750 to 900cal / hour for one hour. Occasionally I do jog for 1-2hours for 1-2 times a week.
I'm thinking I'll start lifting weights when I have dropped like 4-5kg, and drop the cycle routine.
So basicly I'd like to drop 5-10 kg, what more should I do to drop this weight, I eat regularly and healthy, if you don't consider beer on weekends :P |

You can try doing this:
get on a decline bench and pick up a 25lbs disc. sit up until your parallel to the bench and then slowly and using control move the disc from one side to the other while holding it out in front of you. it should give you a good burn ;) |

on top of what you're already doing (which is great btw); you can do:
1) Russian twists: balance on your butt, stick your legs out straight about 3 - 6 inches from the ground and lean back as far as you're able, then twist back and forth really flexing your obliques at the end of each turn, 75 reps per set and 4 reps or so is good to start.
2) What Venom suggested, those are excellent.
3) Losing fat so you can see them.
4) increasing the mass and length of your lats to further define your obliques.
Revealing the obliques is much more difficult than building them. I'd say just stick with what you're doing, maybe throw in some new exercises to break up the monotony and keep working on getting leaner.
Also, you develop your obliques doing just about any heavy-weight exercise so make sure you're pushing yourself in all the major muscle groups all the time. Not too hard though, i tore a muscle in my upper back a week ago and I'm on pain killers and muscle relaxants now :/
All of a sudden I've become a huge fan of warming up >.< |

I went back to mah personal trainer. He set me up with an upper body day, lower body day and suggested a cardio day. I was doing a full body each time, but I needed to switch it up.
he also brought up branch chain amino acids. He said I could take em if I wanted and they would help a ton. Do any of you know about these? are they worth it? |

BCAA's are valine, leucine, and isoleucine. They are amino acids that have non-linear aliphatic side chains and they are the building blocks of proteins. BCAA's are unique in that they are metabolized in muscle and not in the liver, like other amino acids. They are supposed to improve endurance, combat fatigue, and promote post-exercise recovery. |
